First Time Right
Fifty years of site experience behind every specification. We would rather lose a sale than send a machine that arrives two metres short.
Mtandt was founded on a simple observation: in India, the equipment existed but the ecosystem around it did not. We spent five decades building that ecosystem — machine, system, competence and service, under one accountable roof.
Not a slogan we adopted. A structure we built, deliberately, one business unit at a time.
When Mtandt started in 1974, working at height in India largely meant bamboo, rope and hope. Aerial work platforms were rare, fall protection was an afterthought, and the few importers who existed sold a machine and walked away. Every part of the chain that a safe lift depends on — the right specification, a competent operator, a maintained machine, a valid certificate, a rescue plan — was somebody else's problem.
We took the position that all of it was ours. Over five decades that turned into seven business units: manufacturing, rentals, engineered fall protection, suspended access, rope access, asset management and a training academy. They are separate companies with separate specialisations, but for a customer they behave as one supplier with one point of accountability.
Today that shows up in unglamorous ways. A customer calls about a 30-metre façade. They leave with the right machine, an operator who is certified on that exact model, matting so the outriggers do not sink, a rescue plan, and a service engineer whose number they have. That is the whole business, restated.
Among the earliest movers in organised work-at-height equipment in India.
Across construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, energy and logistics.
Cumulative operational experience across our fleet and field teams.
Specialised companies operating as one supplier to the customer.
They are commercially inconvenient often enough to be real.
Fifty years of site experience behind every specification. We would rather lose a sale than send a machine that arrives two metres short.
The buying power and utilisation of a national fleet, passed through as project pricing rather than absorbed as margin.
Digitised processes, telematics and documented handovers, so what happened on site is visible rather than remembered.
Pan-India presence with global partnerships, so distance from a metro does not decide whether you get supported.
Seven business units covering the full chain, so the answer to an unusual problem is rarely "we don't do that".
Each unit was created because a customer needed something the market could not supply.
Founded in 1974 supplying industrial equipment and safety products into an Indian market that was still improvising its way up ladders.
Introduced organised MEWP supply and rental, then built the yard, service and spares infrastructure that ownership actually requires.
Began manufacturing aluminium scaffolding and engineering fall protection systems locally, closing the gap between imported machine and Indian structure.
Added a certified training academy, an industrial rope access division and a dedicated asset management arm — completing the chain.
Separate specialisations. Single contract, single escalation path.
The rental arm — one of India's largest owned fleets of aerial work platforms, with pan-India mobilisation and operator supply.
Manufacturing of lifting and access equipment, engineered and built for Indian site conditions and duty cycles.
Tower cranes, construction hoists and mast climbing work platforms for high-rise and infrastructure projects.
Aluminium scaffolding systems — ladder, stairway, low-reach, cage ladder and bespoke engineered structures.
Suspended under-deck access platforms, safety nets and debris containment for bridge and soffit work.
Industrial rope access for inspection, survey, maintenance and repair, onshore and offshore.
Total MEWP asset management — yard services, maintenance, repair, retrofitting and telematics for any fleet.
ISO and NSDC-certified academy delivering work-at-height, MEWP operator, rescue and GWO programmes.
Mobile light towers, battery power stations, and industrial ladders and climbing solutions.
Long-standing relationships with the manufacturers whose equipment defines the category — plus the after-sales infrastructure to support it here.
Construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, power, renewables, oil & gas, logistics and facilities.
Quality and safety management certification governing how our training, service and installation operations run.
Recognised skilling partner, so operator certifications carry weight beyond our own letterhead.
Basic Safety Training delivered to the wind sector's international standard for turbine technicians.
Our rope access division works to IRATA-aligned method statements, supervision ratios and rescue provision.
Because each capability needs real depth to be worth having. A rental fleet, a manufacturing line, an engineering practice, a rope access team and a training academy require different people, different certifications and different economics. Running them as one blurred department would produce a mediocre version of all five. Running them as specialised units — with one commercial front door — gives the customer depth without complexity.
No. You get one account contact, one contract structure and one escalation path, regardless of how many units are involved in delivering the scope. Internal coordination is our problem. If a lifeline system, a rented boom lift and an operator training programme all land on your site in the same week, they arrive coordinated.
Across India, with a network of yards, service hubs and field engineers, plus offshore and international project capability through our rope access and suspended access divisions. Remote and non-metro locations are routine for us — most heavy infrastructure is not built in convenient places.
Construction and infrastructure, process and discrete manufacturing, power generation and transmission, renewables — particularly wind — oil and gas, cement, steel, logistics and warehousing, aviation, and facilities management. The common factor is not the sector; it is that people have to work above ground level and come back down safely.
Regularly — field service engineers, certified operators, rope access technicians, trainers and sales engineers across our locations. Write to us with your background and the region you want to work in, and we will route it to the right business unit.
Whether it is a single machine or a multi-site safety programme, start with a conversation about what you are actually trying to reach.
